"We recently left our 3 ageing dogs for 3 nights at Hillcrest. From the moment we arrived to visit the kennels until the time we left with our dogs we were delighted by the professionalism and patience of all members of staff. The kennels are in a beautiful setting, a variety of kennel spaces, immaculately well-kept and clean. Our dogs returned healthy, happy and as clean as they arrived, no horrible ‘kennel smell.’ We were delighted with all aspects of the experience and now know that we can overnight away from our home, secure in the knowledge that our pets will be as well cared for as if they were at home."

"I have now used Hillcrest Kennels on countless occasions for our black Labrador who always rushes in to be greeted by the excellent staff on-site and/or by Sarah herself, who obviously loves dogs. And they usually give him a bath and wash his bedding when we pick him up at NO CHARGE. How nice is that? Our Labbie is obviously very content to be looked after here and shows no signs of stress or poor nutrition or poor health. Thank you, Hillcrest."

"Looked after our doggy so well. It was his first time in kennels and he is 14! Expected him to come out sulking with a lost voice but I'm not even sure he noticed we'd left him he was so happy. Two walks a day in a beautiful field plus playtime in the exercise yards and fuss from the staff equalled a very happy Dex. Can't thank them enough as we were so worried about him being old for the first time in kennels!"

"The kennels were brilliant for our two dogs. They were extremely well looked after and on hot days they provided them with fans. This is the first kennels that we have actually used where the dogs have not come back stressed or ill. The staff are all very caring and are amazingly friendly. "We have tried other kennels in the past and our cat Dora has not been happy staying anywhere until we found Hillcrest. She goes in happily and is always relaxed and purring when we pick her up. The pens are a very good size and always clean, no smells at all. The staff are always happy, helpful and greet our cat by name and know her needs. I would recommend Hillcrest to anyone, all the cats and dogs are VERY well cared for. It is clear that everyone there cares about all the animals. We have been taking Dora there for years."

"I went off to Greece for my first holiday in 16 years. My 11yr old Parson Russel Polo took his holiday at Hillcrest. He was a nervous, sometimes aggressive little rescue dog, who went ballistic at cats & other animals. After completing the paperwork I went to say my last goodbye before setting off, he was in his private pad...sleeping!!! Oh ok then, bye Polo. I felt totally reassured, we had never been apart for more than a few hours in 11 years. So quite a wrench, but not for him obviously. I picked him up 12 days later. Oh my God!!! Who is this gorgeous, chilled out, slim & extremely happy looking dog? He no longer gets aggressive, & as for cats? They don't even get a second look from him :) Hillcrest is so much more than just a kennel, the effects are more like Rehab/Spa/Therapy. Happy dog, happy owner. Sarah & her team are obviously dedicated, & truly care about our best friends, I for one am so grateful. Polo is off on his hols again soon.
